We are excited to introduce a new faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. Ìýis a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the 51±¬ÁÏÍø of Medicine at Stony Brook University.Ìý
Dr. Esraa AskarÌýgraduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, where she served as a third-year Chief Resident. She then pursued fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.Ìý
Dr. Askar's clinical interests include general endocrinology, with a focus on calcium metabolism, diabetes, and thyroid disease. Dr. Askar will be practicing at the Center Moriches and Lake Grove locations.
