Welcoming Dr. Gunjan Joshi to Stony Brook Cardiology – Interventional Cardiologist Serving the East End of Long Island

We are delighted to announce the recruitment of , who has joined the Division of Cardiology and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Joshi is a highly accomplished interventional cardiologist with board certification in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Joshi brings a unique combination of procedural excellence, diagnostic acumen, and academic achievement. A graduate of Cornell University and the Campbell University School of Medicine, he trained in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, completed his cardiology fellowship at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, and received interventional cardiology training at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Joshi is also an established clinical trialist. He is being recruited from the University of Kentucky to join our award-winning east-end program where he will continue his outstanding clinical, teaching and research career. 

Dr. Joshi will be seeing cardiology patients in the outpatient settings in Southampton, East Hampton, Hampton Bays, and Center Moriches, and will be an interventional cardiologist at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
