We are thrilled to welcome Ìýto the faculty of the Division of Cardiology and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. A Stony Brook-trained physician through and through, Dr. Heslin completed his undergraduate, MBA, MD, Internal Medicine residency, and Cardiology fellowship at Stony Brook where he has received numerous accolades and awards at every stage of his career.Ìý
Dr. Heslin will be joining our inpatient and imaging teams at Stony Brook University Hospital and our Advanced Clinical Specialty locations and the Northport VA Hospital. He is a superb clinician and dedicated educator. His clinical interests span imaging, lipidology, consultative and critical care cardiology. He is an outstanding clinical educator with a recent coauthoring of “ECG Companion for Beginning Expertsâ€, and his innovative ECG education series is now embedded in the residency curriculum.Ìý
