Why Stony Brook?: It was always my goal to come back home for residency. To be able to be near family and get to train at the cornerstone institution that has served my community for my whole life is an absolute privilege. The resources and support I can receive here at Stony Brook during residency are unmatched for the island. I started my pre-med journey as a Seawolf, and now I get to reach that goal just across Nicolls road.Â
