Why Stony Brook: I lived on Long Island during medical school and found a strong sense of belonging here. Returning for residency felt natural, especially with the added comfort of being close to my home in New Jersey. My interview day at Stony Brook exceeded expectations. I witnessed genuine camaraderie among happy, supportive residents, which left a lasting impression. I was also drawn to the program’s academic rigor and welcoming environment, which affirmed my decision to join 51±¬ÁÏÍø and grow into the physician I aspire to be.
