We are delighted to announce that Silvana Obici, M.D., Chief, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Professor of Medicine, has been appointed Medical Director of the , after serving as Interim Medical Director since November 2022.

On December 3rd, 2024, Stony Brook University Hospital held the formal dedication of The Dr. Ellinor I. Peerschke Hematology Lab.
